Car built by Ashbury Railway Carriage and Iron Company, Manchester in 1886. Body of tram fitted to Eade's patent reversable truck. Photograph taken in Nether Edge depot yard. Note the 'hyphen' between Nether and Edge. Information from Mark Gilpin. The tram depot buildings are now used by Nether Edge Garage and Sainsburys. The house in the background is 18 Machon Bank Road, one of the houses that comprise Montgomery Mount.
