Caption on front reads: - Beighton once had a market in the 30s, and a trough into which evry (sic) boy in the village fell at least once. It was used by a blacksmith John Moody who had a wooden shop where the post office is now (1976). Note Thos Staveley's builders and stone masons yard to the left of the Cinema House which they built for Toms brother in law Cocky Whitley in 1913.
