Notes:	Designed by W.E. Trent the cinema opened as the Regent on 26th December, 1927 and became the Gaumont in 1946. In 1969 the Gaumont became twin screened and in 1979 triple screened. The cinema closed on 7th November 1985 and the site became a shopping development to include a new Odeon cinema.
