Title:View looking down Birley Moor Road towards where it becomes Mansfield Road
Location:Sheffield_Frecheville
Date Period:1920-1939
Notes:

The faintly white building in the top centre is the Noah's Ark public house. Information from P Maddock, who grew up in a house later built on the patch of ground on the left which became a cul-de-sac on Mansfield Road. Mr Maddock's parents' house was built in 1938, so the photograph must have been taken prior to that.

A stream running under Mansfield Road is said to be part of the ancient boundary, between Mercia and Northumbria.
