Back row: Mr George Fisher, Mrs Roberts, Mr Tom James, Mrs Amy Hawke and baby Mary, Mrs Mead, Mrs Doris Wragg, Mr George Philips, Miss Aggy. Seated on the grass: Maid unknown (took up duties at 18 years old), Mrs Nicklin. The Plumpers Inn moved from the corner of Sheffield Road and Town Street to be rebuilt and renamed Plumpers Hotel at the corner of Sheffield Road in the 1890's; later resited again for M1 and Tinsley Roundabout construction.
