The Garden Gate Inn (centre left), was a corner Beer House at 24-26 Harvest Lane, operating from at least 1861, when Elijah and Mary Tasker were listed there. It had various owners and operators till closing in Dec 1914. The owners by that time were A. H. Smith's Don Brewery.
