Notes:

The Electra Palace opened on 11th February 1911. It closed on 28 July 1945 and reopened as News Theatre in September. It became the Classic Cinema on 15 January 1962, finally closing on 24th November 1982. A fire in 1984 destroyed most of the building and it was later demolished.

The old facade of The Electra Palace can be seen. This was hidden behind modern cladding when it was renovated into the Classic Cinema.
