Cinecenta incorporated into the Pond Street Development, opened 30th January 1969 with Wonderwall in Cinecenta 1 and The Red Mantle in Cinecenta 2. March 1969 became the Penthouse Club, a cinema showing uncensored films to male audiences only. Star Group took control December 1980; changed hands again and renamed Cannon 1-2 1st May 1986 with films for general release shown again.
