Information from H of Walkley: This is Hadfield Street. The single house in the background is still there (16 Hadfield Street). Walkley Street can be seen at the extreme right. The building top left corner with all the chimneys must be Hadfield Terrace. Amongst the chimneys you can just see the spire of St Mary's, Walkley (Howard Road). The playground is on the site of some earlier back-to-backs, and was probably short-lived, before the creation of Ruskin Park just down the hill.
