The doorway to the porch forms the entrance to the half timbered Pavilion later destroyed by fire. It is carved with an inscription and This building is set up for the use of the public and to commemorate the gift of this Park to the citizens of Sheffield by Henry, Duke of Norfolk K.G. August MDCCCCX and image of the Henry, 15th Duke of Norfolk.
