Copied from the sale plan of Woodthorpe Estate, July 1st, 1884. Woodthorpe Hall, Intake was home to the Parkers from mid 18th century until John Parker M.P. (later Lord Darrington) moved to Darrington Hall.The Parkers were primarily bankers. They were followed by the Gainsford family.Each room was painted a different colour.It was demolished in 1934 to make way for the Woodthorpe Estate and School.The house stood where the swimming baths used to be.
