This large stone house, formerly known as Pitsmoor Abbey, is situated in Abbeyfield Park, almost opposite the Pitsmoor Toll Bar, was built by Mr. Pass, as his own residence, at the end of the 18th century. The house and grounds were purchased by contributions from the Sheffield Town Trust and the late H.J. Wilson in 1909.
