On the corner of Matilda Street and Arundel Street is another public house, not identifiable. 1919-20 and 1927 Directories: 79-81 Matilda Street, Harry Clayton, beerhouse. This block of buildings was later (Jul 2002)developed for Hallam Universitys' student accommodation.

The extreme right of picture is Roper and Wreaks Ltd., engineering works at the Oval Works, 112 Arundel Street. Built about 1904.
