This large stone house is situated in Abbeyfield Park, almost opposite the Pitsmoor Toll Bar, was built by Mr. Pass, as his own residence, at the end of the 18th century. After his death, the house was occupied for most of the 19th century by the Wake family. Note the sundial on the corner of the house which was erected by Bernard Wake in 1883.
