The following was written on the photograph; Front view of Leasehold Inn belonging to Mr. William Jarvis and two freehold houses and shops belonging to the Sheffield Co-operative Society. Situated in Snig Hill, Sheffield. In chancery Sheffield IndustrialSociety Society Limited v Jarvis and others. This is the photograph marked F5 (this picture) referred to in the affidavit of Thomas James Flockton sworn before me in this cause this day of November 1869. Charles A. Branson, The Commissionaire.
