At the time of this photograph, owned by Messrs. Styring and Styring (agents). Occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Hunt who let furnished rooms. Mrs Metcalfe, resident at 2a, Niagara Yard has known the area all her life (77 years). Said that 70 years ago, it was owned by Mr. Clark, who held horse races and sports on Niagara track. From nearly 70 years ago, until Decemcer 1957, owned by the Staniforth family (father and son). Mrs. Metcalfe says that Mr. Clark mortgaged the house to the Duke of Norfolk who put in Mr. Staniforth who worked for him.
