Information from Malcolm Nunn, Bradfield Parish Council Archivist This is an image used in slide lectures/ magic lantern shows by photographer Mr. Peacock. His notes to accompany the lectures also included some of his experiences while taking the photograph. "At Limerick (Limbrick) Works, crinoline manufacturer, £10,000 worth of damage was done, a solid stone building was swept away and the machinery damaged and exposed to view. The boiler house was also wrecked leaving the two boilers upside down; three parts of the stable also fell and crinoline wire could be traced for a long way down the river. One of the partners., Mr. Barker was drowned at Trickett's Farm."
