Information from Malcolm Nunn, Bradfield Parish Council Archivist. This is an image used in slide lectures/ magic lantern shows by photographer Mr. Peacock. His notes to accompany the lectures also included some of his experiences while taking the photograph. The Loxley Old Wheel Tilt and Forge where a great deal of damage was done. The youths were at work at the Tilt, one climbed up the chimney, another scrambled up a pole and then onto the beams of the roof but the third was drowned.
