The Barber family lived here from 1903-1909. They left to live at Bentley Hall Farm in Coal Aston. The reason for leaving was the continued loss of land to the corporation, culminating in that to build the school adjacent to Woodseats and Chesterfield Road. The Farm is believed is believed to have been demolished in 1960.The area is still known as Barber's Fields. |
