The Electra Palace opened on 11 Feb 1911 on the site of Wonderland. It closed on 28 Jul 1945 and reopened as Capital and Provincial News Theatre in Sep 1945. It became Classic Cinema on 15 Jan 1962. It finally closed on 24 Nov 1982. Hickton and Farmer, Architect. |
