Trough was taken from the yard of the Tontine Hotel, 22 Old Haymarket which was an important Coaching Inn in the 1800s.

Removed to Kenwood House, Sharrow c. 1850 according to an article in the Edgar Allen Works and Sports magazine, c. 1928 (Sheffield City Archives: BC/19/2)
