Notes:

This photograph was given to Geoff Tweedale by American antiquarian arms dealer and historian, the late Norman Flayderman. It appears to have been from the Wostenholm archive, which was acquired by American knife collectors c.1970s, shortly before Washington Works was demolished. Most of the archive was subsequently shipped to America, but was eventually acquired by Sheffield Archives in the early 1990s.According to Flayderman these are probably Wostenholm workers. Some of the photogarphs (a04860-a04869) match those from other sources, so this attribution is almost certainly correct. The photographs could date from the 1880s, and certainly look pre-1914.
