Memorial to Harry Brearley the inventor of stainless steel who worked for Firth Brown and Co. 1908-1915. It is situated on the building wall at the junction of Princess Street and Blackmoor Street. Born 18th February 1871 in Ramsden's Yard at the back of 23 Spital Street died at Livermead, Torquay aged 77 on the 14th July 1948.
