The Heeley Green Picture House opened in 1920. From 1930 onwards it became a theatre staging vaudeville and variety acts, but reverted to a cinema in 1938 with sound added. The cinema closed in 1959, reopened in 1961 as The Tudor, but finally closed in 1962. It then became a bingo hall. Finally became Potter's snooker club. Destroyed by fire 2004.
