Theophilus Smith, sculptor. Presented by the Sheffield Literary and Philosophical Society (Ref: Sheffield Portraiture in Sculpture Painting and Engraving by Bernard H. Hoole. Ref 757 S). Holland was born 1794 in the grounds of Sheffield Park. He composed Sheffield Park in 1820; The Village of Eyam in 1821 and Flowers from Sheffield Park in 1827. Holland was also the Editor of the Sheffield Iris as well as curator of the Sheffield Literary and Philosophical Society.
