The article names Beatrice Johnson running the corner shop other residents including Doreen Etchers, daughter Lesley and Mrs. Lily Goudge. A compulsory purchase order for the 40 houses on Dolphin Street had been made but residants could not be rehoused for 5 years. See The Star 21st September 1960
