Showing Maria Jackson nee Vickers at the roadside outside No. 117, she usually collected the crumbs off the table in her pinny and emptied them outside in the road. They were rehoused Feb 1962 following Gale damage. Information from her grandaughter Ann Liggins nee Beckett

The Primitive Methodist Chapel was used as the offices of the Sheffield branch of the Transport and General Workers Union.(before and after 1958).The offices names were Mr Owen, Mr Croft, Mr Hanley, Mr Nolan, Mr Scott, secretary's Eleanor Stokes, Miss Casey.
