The tower was built into the kitchen garden wall of Banner Cross Hall near the junction of Ecclesall Road South and the bottom of Ringinglow Road. It was built as a place for Lord John Murray to relax in. It has two rooms with bay windows and was said to have had a small library. In bygone days fruit and wine were taken there on summer afternoons. |
