Interior of Norfolk Market Hall. In the centre was a fountain of Green Moor stone. The sides and ends of the market were divided into about fifty shops. Double ranges of stalls ran down the centre, so the market was divided into four avenues.

Church of England Mortuary Chapel, in the new portion of General Cemetery, off Cemetery Road. The first stone of the church was laid by Rev. Dr. Sutton, then vicar, May 8th, 1848. The ground consecrated by the Archbishop, June 27th, 1850
