Collegiate School, Collegiate Crescent, boarding school for juniors and proprietary school for university for seniors. Became Sheffield Royal Grammar School in 1880s. In 1906, converted to Sheffield University's Teachers' College.

Fox House Inn, Hathersage Road. Dated 1690 in one room. Originally a farmhouse, rebuilt in Tudor style by the then Duke of Rutland at the time of the building of Longshaw Lodge
