Robert A. Hadfield (dated 11 Jan 1897) which reads:

This family photograph was taken in the conservatory of my grandson’s house at Roselands near Southampton in July 1896. It represents myself, my eldest son Henry and his eldest son henry, and his little boy who is called Henry the Fourth all being eldest sons of eldest sons.
