Parties: 1) James Barker, son of John Barker of Snow Hill in the Park of Sheffield, Penknife cutler and 2) Henry Campbell of Sheffield, Chimneysweeper Agrees to provide James Barker with training in the profession and meat, drink, lodgings, washing, wearing apparel and all other necessities. Term: 6 years. Witnessed by John Thompson and George J. Schofield. Parties (including John Barker) have made their marks and seals.

Henry Campbell is listed in 1841 Sheffield trade directories as a chimney sweeper and is based at 13 Castle Folds Lane. He also appears at the same address in the 1845 White's trade directory. He had stopped being listed in directories by 1849.
