The same ground shown in FC/She/137L (arc03895) as it was in 1826, including Daniel Hill and West Dun The ground concerned includes Upperthorp [Upperthorpe], Port Mahon, Nether Thorp [Netherthorpe] and the land between White House Lane (Infirmary Road) and Morton Wheels. Includes John Addy's house, Lidgate Field, Shales Moor Close, White House Lane or Walkley Road, Penistone Turnpike Road, old road from Owlerton to Sheffield, Green lane, Cleakham [Cleakum Inn], Morton Wheel and Morton Wheel Dam, River Dun and Bacon's Island, waterworks, poor house, Bellefield House, Daniel hill, infirmary, Philadelphia, West Dun, Horse or Cavalry Barracks (opened in 1794) [Note - this is not Hillsborough Barracks], Bowling Green, a tavern [possibly the Cambridge public house], St Philips Church, Globe Works, Roscoe Place, Hoyle Street, Dun Street, Moor Fields, Green Lane, etc Dimensions: approx. 69 x 49 cm.
