Kelvin Grove

The public are respectfully informed, that another public fete! At Kelvin Grove, is intended to take place on the evening of Monday next, April 26, 1852, which will conclude with a superb display of fireworks under the direction of Mr Bywater, who will, in the course of the evening, introduce several of the magnificent devices which have obtained for him such high popularity in all parts of the United Kingdom.

The Grove will be brilliantly illuminated with gas and naptha light.

The band, under the direction of Mr. John Heathcote, will be in attendance at seven o'clock.

Fireworks at 8:30, amongst which, the following unique devices will be produced, viz. that gorgeous and pleasing piece the windmill! A beautiful royal star piece! Richly surmounted with hanging lights of every variety of colour. A grand eccentric device in silvery brilliance. An extensive cascade piece, of surpassing beauty a magnificent eruptive piece, and various other devices, interspersed with mines, coloured lights, shells, skyrockets, roman candles, etc.

Admittance twopence each, young children in care of friends, one penny, one penny extra to the quadrille ground.

No out checks.

N.B. A quadrille band at Kelvin Grove every Monday evening throughout the summer.
