The performances will commence with for the first time on any stage, a grand historical drama in four parts, adapted by Mr Harry Pitt, from Albert Smith's great work of The

Marchioness of Brinvilliers!

Or, The Boatmill of Notre Dame.

With new and magnificent costumes, by Mr John Douglas. The music by Mr Thomas Tarr. The whole produced under the superintendence of Mr Henry Frazer and the author.

To be followed by

A grand ballet!

Hailed nightly with triumphant applause.

To conclude with the most powerful domestic drama of the day, received here with unbounded applause, entitled

Rich and Poor!Or, a Tale of the Four Seaons.

Notice. In consequence of the enthusiastic reception Shakespere's [Shakespeare’s] sublime tragedy of Macbeth was received with on Saturday night last, and the immense applause bestowed upon the rendering of Locke’s beautiful music, Mrs C. Pitt, in order to give you the visitors to Sheffield an opportunity of witnessing one of the grandest creations of the immortal bard, has been induced to repeat it on Thursday, Nov 29th.

On Thursday, November 29th,

the performances will commence with Shakespere's [sic] celebrated tragedy ofMacbeth.After which,A grand ballet!To conclude with the nautical drama of

Gale Breezley.

James, Mr Johnstone, Mr Jones, Mr W. E. Lane, Mr Lawrence, Mr Lewis, Mr Wilson Parker, Mr Charles D. Pitt, Mr Rogers,  Mr C. Rowella, Miss Eliza Saville, Miss Shalders, Mr J. R. Shaw, Mr Montague Smythson, Mr Somerville, Miss Swift, Mr Roberts Tindell [sic], Mr E. W. Travers, Mr Frank Wilton.

Doors open at half past six. To commence at seven o'clock.

Dress circle, 3s., boxes, 2s., pit, 1s., gallery, 6d.,

Private boxes, to hold six, £1 1s. Half price to dress circle, boxes, and pit, at nine o'clock.

The box plan at Mr J. Thorpe's, confectioner, 1, Fargate, where seats and tickets may be secured. The refreshment room, under the direction of Mr Henson, confectioner, Sheffield Moor. Smoking strictly prohibited. Police always in attendance to maintain order.
