Postcard postmarked 1917. Verse on front of card reads: Just a little word of greeting, till you and I clasp hands in meeting. A word to cheer you on your way - a happy, joyous christmas day. Reverse of card reads Many happy years, unbroken friendships, and cheerful recollections. With the compliments of the seasonand all good wishes from Mr and Mrs F. Caterer, 51 Glenalmond Road, Ecclesall, Sheffield. Xmas 1917 and New Year 1918. This image was originally part of the Tim Hale Photographic Collection. It was purchased at auction in September 2019 through donations from members of the public and a grant from the Graves Trust.
