Text on back of photograph; This is a photograph of the New Haymarket, Sheffield looking East. The building was built by John Hall for his business and includes The Golden Fleece Inn and on the right is Broad Street, Park, showing part of the sign of the Industry Inn. The building was erected about 1800 and was pulled down to enable the London and North Western Railway Co. (I think) their goods station. The Corn Exchange Buildings stand on the site of the open market place in the foreground of the photograph. T. Walker Hall, 14th April, 1914.
