Possibly originally the New Inn built 1828 1838 Golden Ball, closed 1984 and reopened 1985 as the Turnpike. Damaged by fire January 1989 and laster demolished to make way for the Don Valley Stadium. For more information see: Sheffield Public Houses Michael Liversidge. Ref: 728.5 S.
