Horse and Rider Sculpture by David Wynne 1978, a 12 foot high horse and young male rider with arms outspread. The plaque of black marble reads 'Horse and Rider, David Wynne presented to the people of Sheffield by the family of the late Hyman Stone in his memory and by the creators of its immediate surroundings the Gauntlet Developments a member of the Slough Estates Group 1978'. Gauntlet Developments built Fountain Precinct. Stone was a solicitor who had an office near this site. |
