The team played in the Sheffield and District Works Sports Association League. They were winners of the second division title playing all their 8 matches without losing. The team also won the Knockout Cup beating 3 first division teams namely Royal Insurance, Davy Loewy and Qualcut Tools. The team throughout the season included Julie Garside (captain), Sue Ayres, Barbara Wood, Julie Markley, Lorna Wilton, Barbara Oldham, Linda Hazelwood, Kathleen Connelley, Lyn Jennings, Julie Southwell and Pam Foster.
